Mr. James " Jim" Robert Marshall, Jr, 72, of Lenox, Georgia passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Marshall was born November 15, 1940 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late James Robert Marshall, Sr. and June Dorcas Campbell Marshall. Mr. Marshall retired with United Airlines, was a retired electrician, and also served as a Lenox City Councilman. He was a member of Lenox United Methodist Church where he served as a song leader. He had lived in Lenox, Georgia for the past 21 years.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Robinson Marshall of Lenox, Georgia; three daughters and sons-in-law; Sharon Marshall Trotter, Dee Dee and Bryan Criscillo, and Lori and Pete Daniel, all of Louisville, Kentucky; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew & Amber Marshall of Huntingtown, Maryland; Step-children, David & Wanda Robinson of Adel, Georgia, Donald Robinson of Huntsville, Alabama, and Lynn & Dan Dohner of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers and and a sister-in-law, George W. and Rose Marshall of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Robert W. Marshall of Weirton, West Virginia. Several nieces & nephews, Jeff Marshall of Mountain Lake, New Jersey, Julie Harris of Morgantown, West Virginia, Amy Robinson of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Alex Marshall of Wheeling, West Virginia. 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm, at Lenox United Methodist Church with Rev. Sallie Flowers officiating. Shirley McMillan played the piano and the congregation sang "When We All Get To Heaven," "Amazing Grace," and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee." Condolences may be expressed to the family online at
