Miss Donna Hunt, 48, of Adel, passed away Thursday September 18, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1964, in Donalsonville, GA to Shelly Arlington Hunt (deceased) and Jewel Welch Hunt. She was a homemaker, a member of Massee Baptist Church and lived in Cook County for most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Hunt of Adel; a granddaughter, Bella Lindsey of Adel; her mother Jewel Welch Hunt of Adel; seven brothers, Billy Welch of Adel, Bobby Hunt of Waycross, David Hunt of Colquitt, GA, Jerry Hunt of Alma, Loyce Hunt of Dothan, AL, Ray Hunt of Adel and Wayne Hunt of Lorenzo's Pass, TX; three sisters, Brenda Lewis of Donalsonville, Debbie McMillan and Norma McMillan, both of Colquitt, GA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Shelly Arlington Hunt and her brother, Royce Hunt.
The funeral service was held Thursday September 20, 2012 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Dr. Stanley Hendricks officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Special selections played were "Wish You Were Here" and "Sissy's Song." Shawn Lewis, D.J. Hunt, Randy Mills, Bruce Howell, Wilson Lindsey, Matt Carter and Kyle Kelley served as pallbearers.
