Mr. George "Gabby" Taylor

Mr. George "Gabby" Taylor, 85, of Sparks, Georgia passed away June 14, 2012 at the Memorial Convalescent Center of Adel. He was born February 22, 1927 in Cook County to the late George Taylor and Minnie Folsom Taylor Rentz. Mr. Taylor was a World War II Army veteran, a retired farmer and of the Methodist Faith.
He is survived by his Special Cousins: Susan and David Griffin, Steven and Laura Griffin all of Adel Georgia; Jane Gleason of Boston, Georgia; Mary L. Hart (Widow of Howard Hart) of Sparks, Georgia; a Special Friend, Kent Tomas of Adel; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Annie Zelma Griner Taylor.
A graveside service was held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel with Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Visitation took place the day of the service from 5:00 PM until time of service at Boone Funeral Home, 202 N. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia.
